Audio recording, reimagined from the ground up.

Recording audio is easy. Finding the right recording later is not.
Most recorders leave you with a growing pile of files: timestamps, generic names, and the one moment you cared about buried somewhere in the middle. Without real context, every recording starts to feel like a file in a drawer.
VivaTake Recorder reimagines recording from the first press to the last replay: real-time pitch tracking while you sing, pinch-to-zoom and variable-speed scrubbing, timestamped markers, then tags, search, and side-by-side comparison to find every take again later.
What else can VivaTake do?
Every step of the recording process, reimagined.
Immediate record and play
Start recording or play back a take with a single press. No extra screens, no tap-through loops when you are reviewing dozens of sessions.
Real-time pitch tracking
See your pitch tracked in real time as you sing, layered over a live waveform that shows the shape of your audio. The waveform is expected; the pitch feedback is the difference.
Pinch to zoom in or out
Zoom in for detail on a phrase or zoom out to see the full take, without swiping through a long file one screen at a time.
Variable-speed scrubbing
Drag to the edge of the screen to move forward or back through the timeline at variable speed, like fast-forwarding a video.
Tags and markers
Group recordings with tags. Drop markers at specific moments in time and attach notes so you can jump straight to the phrase, mistake, or breakthrough that counts.
Undo and redo
Rename, mark up, and edit freely. Every change is reversible, so mistakes never feel permanent.
Longform descriptions
Attach full notes to each recording, not just a short title. Write the context future you needs to understand why a take mattered.
Advanced search
Search through tags, marker notes, and descriptions to retrieve any recording without scrolling through a growing list of files.
List playback with context
Play from the recording list with a bottom player panel. See active marker notes as playback reaches each moment.
Side-by-side comparison
Select two takes and compare them side by side: listen, inspect waveforms, and hear your progress instead of relying on memory alone.
